Vicepresident of Umbria region visits Angelantoni Group

Cavaliere Gianluigi Angelantoni and Federica Angelantoni, respectively President and Chief Sustainability Officer of the Angelantoni Industrie Group welcomed the Vice President of the Umbria Region and his delegation, together with some top managers of the company.

The first step was a visit to the recently created Company Museum, showing the story of a company born from the genius of the founder Giuseppe Angelantoni who, having moved from Massa Martana to Milan, founded a factory of refrigeration systems in 1932. In reality, as Gianluigi Angelantoni explained to his guests, the "establishment" was initially made up of his motorcycle and the tool bag that he always carried with him. And the original motorcycle is there in the museum, together with patented refrigerator compressors, freezers of the time, climatic chambers and blow-ups that illustrate the subsequent evolution that led the Group to be the current reality. “Only those who have great memories can have high hopes”, this is the motto that inspired the Angelantoni family in the creation of the Museum.

After the visit to the Museum, the Angelantoni Group’s current structure was presented: 4 production/logistics units in Italy and 4 branches for Sales/Technical Assistance of environmental test chambers in France, Germany, India and China, with a total of 400 employees and a turnover of 80 million euros in 2022.

The companies of the Group currently operate in the sectors of environmental test chambers with Angelantoni Test Technologies (ACS), biomedical equipment with Angelantoni Life Science (ALS), coating systems for the deposition of thin film materials Kenosistec, energy efficiency of industrial refrigeration systems TurboAlgor. In a world that is hungry for clean energy, Federica Angelantoni also spoke about the possibilities of relaunching, with a Chinese partner, Archimede Solar Energy, the only manufacturer in the world of receiving tubes for thermodynamic solar power plants with molten salt technology, developed in the past in collaboration with ENEA (Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development).

Subsequently the discussion focused on some fundamental aspects for company activities, such as the improvement of the road network and local infrastructures in general and the difficulty in finding young talents necessary for the development of companies. Francesca Orsini Federici, HR Manager of the Group, presented various Group projects such as "in the field" training (collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Perugia, with SITUM etc) and the training experience with the IPSIA Institute of Todi named after Giuseppe Angelantoni (creation of the Technical Refrigeration Laboratory, Technical Refrigeration course, educational visits, training internships).

Before leaving, Vice President Morroni congratulated those present for the results achieved and confirmed the support of the Region.
