Angelantoni donates equipment to the Polyclinic of Milan
The Angelantoni Group, through its subsidiary Angelantoni Life Science, has accepted the invitation from Confindustria Umbria to a fundraising for the healthcare system.
The company, on the private initiative of the Angelantoni family, has contributed to the efforts to stem the contagion of the COVID-19 virus with two donations to the Ca 'Granda Hospital - Polyclinic of Milan: a laboratory refrigerator model X-COLD 900/1 TN (900 liters) to the Transfusion Center and Biobank directed by Dr. Daniele Prati; a -86°C Ult-freezer model NEXUS Slim 810 V-3 (810 liters) to the Infectious Diseases Department directed by Prof. Andrea Gori.
These equipment are intended for the storage of biological products and samples to be used and studied in the hospital laboratories, which are already equipped with Steril Biohazard Safety Cabinets (BSC), these too produced by Angelantoni.
"As each of us knows well - underlines Gianluigi Angelantoni, president of the Angelantoni Industrie Group - we are experiencing an exceptional and serious health emergency. Our doctors, nurses, civil protection operators, volunteers are facing a real war with courage, professionalism and sacrifice but sometimes without the necessary protection tools and health safety equipment. The Angelantoni family, with all the employees and collaborators of the Group have thus intended to make a contribution to cope with an unprecedented health crisis in the belief that, if united and cohesive, we will emerge more aware, more responsible and stronger, ready for a new Renaissance ".
A very welcome tribute for a company engaged with the community since its origins
